Robertson Residence

This striking premises has been the project of an owner builder. It’s actually a tilt slab structure, which is unusual as this building technque is more commonly used to for commercial projects such as offices, warehouses and units.

This build features double glazed green glass for thermal efficiency and noise reduction.

The Earthsmart u-PVC frames used on this project are laminated in the Nut colour effect to give appearance of authentic timber.

A mixture of sliding doors, French doors, awnings and tilt turns were used.

Awning window banks were an alternative to louvres that give the same good cross ventilation during summer but unlike louvres, also properly seal off the building envelope to keep draughs out during winter.
